Our own merchandise shop with T-shirts, mousepads etc.

Posted by RambOrc on Saturday, February 15, 2003 @ 13:52

We just opened a small online merchandise shop where you can buy T-shirts, mousepads, caffee mugs and similar items with the Korax' Heritage logo. All printing, shipping and cash collecting is done by CafePress, we don't get anything from what you pay for the products. We set it up only so you can run around in a Korax' Heritage T-shirt on the streets. :) Basically, a lot more things can be printed on at this company, so if you have an idea, please post a request into this topic on our forums.

Ain't dead yet

Posted by RambOrc on Friday, February 7, 2003 @ 12:25

Just a quick notice to soothen the most anxious of you, the project is not dead... true, it's been going rather slow lately, but we are on it all the same. What's more, internal testing might begin as soon as this month. And in the meantime, fire up those 4 movies once again and watch 'em... :)

Christmas Greetings - Movies galore

Posted by RambOrc on Wednesday, December 25, 2002 @ 18:46

Depending on your attitude, you can take these 3 videos either as Christmas presents or as something to relieve the utter boredom of this time of the year... one of the videos is a by-product of the Scattered Evil trailer (released about 2 weeks ago) and shows the KMOD 2.2 shop map in live action, with a part of a custom music title I wrote for an RPG project even before Korax' Heritage. The other 2 are the original Korax' Heritage trailers from Summer 2000 (with more music for that RPG, BTW the same goes for the soundtrack of the latest SE trailer too). Comparing them to the new Scattered Evil trailer, our progress over the last 2 years is either obvious or pitiful, according to your point of view. :)

Scattered Evil trailer

Posted by RambOrc on Thursday, December 12, 2002 @ 12:38

After months of nearly no information on our project, a 1:54 minutes long video has been released, showing off quite a couple of features Scattered Evil will offer. It's one thing to read about an NPC that can walk around and can talk to you through a special conversation module, it's quite another thing to see this all in action. So unless you've got a 28K dialup connection, go and grab the 17.2 MB download at the RavenGames Xmas 2002 event.

New weapon (?)

Posted by RambOrc on Friday, November 15, 2002 @ 19:06

We'll most probably use this Ice Wand in Scattered Evil. Unlike the Frost Shards spell, it shoots only one projectile instead of 15, but this single projectile is a lot stronger.

Lately our team has been growing greatly, indeed it doubled in less than a month... our latest addition is Wolverine, a 2D artist.

Scattered Evil progress update

Posted by RambOrc on Saturday, October 12, 2002 @ 14:55

Just a couple of things we're working on right now...

With the joint work of Ichor and Moose, a new monster has been implemented into the mod, the red Chaos Serpent. It breathes a different kind of fireball than the green ones. Work is also progressing on the city, the screenshot below is not really a development shot any more. Unless we find a modeler/skinner to create better roofs, what you see below is pretty much what you'll see in the final version of Scattered Evil. So if you've got anything to say about the look of our hub town, time to drop by our forums and tell me what absolutely needs to be changed.

Mail server problems

We had some mail server probs so any mails sent between October 5 and 9 most probably never reached us, so if you could resend them that'd be nice.

Another new team member

Our team has just been strengthened by another team member, a 2D artist called Firebrand.
