i would like to beta test for your upcoming masterpiece! it looks cool and i would like to help... and *cough*play*cough*. so if you need me, id be happy to.

stats:

ive been playing doom and other action games for a long time, which includes every doom wad, heretic wad, and the basic hexen game (no expantion). i also own or have played the following

diablo
stronghold series
many abandonware games
mount and blade
most everything using the doom engine (that is noteworthy)
duke nukem 3d
duke nukem: zero hour
another duke nukem on playstation
blood
mario
way of the samurai series

i could go on and on... but i wont.

experience: yes i am beta testing on another game called determinance, which is a nifty spinoff of die by the sword. note that this would not get in the way of beta testing korax arena.

so... if you need me, im here, if you dont, then i await your release.

Right now we don't need any beta testers, and we don't have planned any more beta versions, we are focusing on doing a final release for KA 1.0 right now, but thanks for the offering, we'll keep it up if we need something :).

Good to see someone appreciating my work. ;) The current state of the game is far beyond the trailers BTW. :D

I am sure there 'll be a work for testers (no matter how we call that release - 1.0 or beta), especially in newly added game modes. I am still not 100% sure there are no bugs and I haven't got enouph time (and, uh, patience) to test all the possible courses of events.

Really? thats getting me even more exited about plaing korax arena!!

anyway i cant wait to play, and when you do need a beta tester, im the man for the job! God i hope you guy will pump the 1.0 out by the end of summer! i dont know if i can handle the wait! but it will be worth the wait.

one question though, why did you stop using the awesome godlike doomsday engine?

Because its author doesn't care about 3rd party modders like us and so the engine is useless for anything but running it the way it is. It might look impressive, but something like Korax Arena wouldn't be possible based on it.

LOL that must be the understatement of the year... Doomsday compares to Vavoom and ZDOOM like Windows compares to Linux and BSD.
