SCATTERED EVIL

FAQ

Q: Do you have a release date?

A: It's difficult to say yet, there's a lot that still needs to be done, we'll post regurlar updates on the status of the project.

Q: This is the umpteenth time you just put up a new release date instead of actually giving us the game. Have you given up or what?

A: Not at all. We progress the way we progress, and Scattered Evil will be out when it'll be out. We just try to give you a release date, but it neither means it'll be out by then nor does it mean we gave up if it won't be out by that time.

With the news system installed in early June 2002, there are now regular progress updates so in the future you should be able to make a better picture of our current progress.

Q: What will be the differences compared to Korax Mod?

A: Unlike those, it's not a mod but a total conversion (TC). That means a new storyline, new locations, all-new maps, new music, new graphics, a somewhat different interface, and and and...

Q: I've read the Development History and there are many things mentioned I never saw in Korax Mod. Will I see them at last in Scattered Evil?

A: Many of them, yes. You'll get the journal, a new, graphical based spell-casting interface, an enhanced inventory, new maps, new monster animations, NPCs, interaction, quests and some more. There are a couple of things mentioned there you'll only see in The Serpent Power, though.

Q: Scattered Evil and The Serpent Power. Both are called Korax' Heritage. Now which is the real one?

A: In the beginning, there was only one RPG planned, by the name of Korax' Heritage. Due to several reasons, our roadmap has been modified and now there are 2 RPG projects on it. Scattered Evil will be an action-RPG with the gameplay style and visuals of Korax Mod. The Serpent Power will be an epic RPG with a 3D first person shooter engine and based on a radically different engine.
